Glad You Found Us

Welcome!

Welcome to those who are connecting to us via our church website.  I’ve wanted to create this link for a while now but not being as creative as others, it has taken me some time to finally accomplish this.

Now that I have created this alternative access, I plan to write more here, even if in shorter snippets, to chat and do some stream of consciousness reflecting on things and also – but not always – give you an idea of what I’m thinking in advance of our Sunday sermons.  I’m no different than most pastors in that our brains are always churning and percolating as to how to tie the upcoming Sunday’s readings to what is going on in the lives of those whom we serve.

I don’t want to scare you off before we even get very well acquainted, so don’t look at this as some theological “oracle from on high” preachy-type blog.  I welcome your feedback, I want to know what’s on your mind as well.  Just because it’s the Pastor’s Blog, doesn’t mean that I possess profound knowledge.  I am a pastor, not Larry the Cable Guy, so I discuss what I’m most comfortable discussing – faith.  However, as St. Paul says, “We are fools for the sake of Christ.” (I Corinthians 4:10)  So I don’t necessarily have all the answers.  You probably have some of your own that are just as valid if not more.

Hopefully, you’ll find this helpful, informative, and entertaining enough to come back from time to time.  And if you’re not a regular worshipper with us, you’ll drop in for a visit some Saturday evening or Sunday morning.  We’d be glad to see you!
