Paul’s letter to the Philippians reminds us that when we rejoice always, our moments of deepest anguish are also moments of rejoicing.

SAVIOR OF THE NATIONS, COME!

Advent is the season that is supposed to bring hope, peace, love and joy. Yet what we are experiencing as a nation, and as a world, is anxiety, anger, violence and grief.

Show us your steadfast love, O Lord, and grant us your salvation. Let me hear what God the Lord will speak, for he will speak peace to his people, to his faithful, to those who turn to him in their hearts.
